Starting to feel more and more like spring around here and I’m so happy 🥹 this morning I woke up at 7:30 to the sun shining through my bedroom windows and I felt for the first time this year that we’ve *finally* made it through the worst of winter (or at least the winter darkness).

And then on my morning walk I saw spring flowers peaking out through the soil which just confirmed it 🌷 I’m not going to say that we’ve officially made it yet but… let’s just say we’re close (!!!)

Bits and pieces from this weekend 💕 We had a very quiet couple days in the city, which has been pretty much what all of January has been… quiet. But it’s been truthfully much needed quiet.

You might have noticed a shift on this account lately, a bit less curated, and posts becoming a bit more infrequent. I’m just doing what feels right and I haven’t been so inspired to take my camera out lately. So sharing these little moments feels right ✨

Part of the reason I don’t have as much time to spend on here is because when I started sharing videos around two years ago, I decided to start a second account. I thought that my followers here joined me for a very different type of content, and I wanted to start from scratch and create a community that was engaged in this shift. And now with over 75K on @madelineraeaway and even more on TikTok, those have shifted to my primary businesses accounts and take up most of my online time.

I’m so happy I’ve separated these two profiles so I can keep sharing all my favourite, imperfect behind the scenes moments, everyday lifestyle, and all my travels here. So expect much more of that as things get busy again.

#ad A few more from Lapland ❄️☃️ I’ve been wanting to experience Swedish Lapland in the winter ever since I moved to Sweden. But I kept putting it off because I always thought it was too inaccessible and expensive to have one an idyllic winter adventure like this one.

But after I found out about @90degreesnorthab I learned that you can visit Lapland and dog sled, experience the northern lights, go snowmobiling, and experience the local culture on a budget.
